G20 Summit in Hamburg, Germany

On June 8th locally, the exhibition “East Meets West - The Maritime Silk Road from the 13th to the 17th Century”, which was elaborately organized and curated by the Guangdong Provincial Museum and the International Maritime Museum Hamburg, was grandly opened in Hamburg, Germany.

Hamburg has become one of China's most important trading partners and the European city where the largest number of Chinese companies have settled. Hamburg is also at the forefront of cultural exchanges with China. In this sense, there is no place in Germany more suitable than Hamburg to hold the exhibition “Maritime Silk Road”, “it is very significant that the exhibition can be held in Hamburg and during the G20 (G20 Summit).”
